An important message from Nicole Witts and Sue Farrington-Smith
We would be extremely grateful if you could help us in raising desperately needed funds for brain tumour research.
All we are asking you to do is hold a ‘wear a hat for brain tumours’ day.
Quite simply all this entails is your work colleagues and staff wearing a hat of their choice into work on Friday March 25th or a day of your choice and donating a pound (or more if they so wish) to go towards brain tumour research.
- In the UK, brain tumours kill more children than leukaemia or any other cancer
- More women under the age of 35 than breast or any other cancer
- More men under the age of 45 than prostate or any other cancer
- Yet brain tumour research receives less than 1% of national cancer research spending
